I Won! I Won! Better After 50 (BA50) Is Fun and Informative.

By Linda | April 4, 2012

No, not the recent mega-millions. No dollar, and certainly not a dream.  But a fun gift certificate to Lululemon athletic clothes wear, mostly yoga.  Now I can justify buying this great rain poncho and bike around Italy later this spring with style and flair.  Our special birthday bicycle tour is a mutual gift Saul and I are giving to each other.  Let me know your thoughts about that hot pink color.

And it was so easy to win.  I just wrote about “something” (I have to admit in an after 50 senior moment I forgot what I wrote about!) in a great new on-line magazine, Better After 50 (BA50).  Founder and editor Felice Shapiro’s energy literally vibrates the whole site.  A well healed entrepreneur, this venture is sure to be one of her greatest hits.

Why?  The content is interesting, pertinent and FUN!  It’s fun in a way all of us can relate to because it is generated by women like me (and you) who have interesting outlooks on life and aren’t afraid to share. I know our email boxes are already too full, but this is one not to be missed.  And for my readers who are also writers, she is constantly looking for new material.

Full disclosure:  I met Felice 3 or 4 years ago on Martha’s Vineyard. She is one of the a Ladies of the Court, and a damn good tennis player, marathon runner, yoga instructor and a whole lot more.  She has freely given me advice about my own new business, Women MD Resources, a more manageable version of Expediting the Inevitable.  I am now focused on helping only women physicians (or would be physicians).  If I had listened to Felice a year ago, I would have done that all along and be much further along.

So take a few minutes and read this free, on-line magazine.  Content filled with “ongoing conversations among women,”  it is fresh and fun, and fantastically wonderful, especially to put me in a nice new piece of Lululemon clothing (my favorite yoga store which Becca and I frequent when I visit her in DC–alas there is none in Buffalo).

Just sign up and it will come to your in-box. When’s the next issue? can’t wait to read it!  When’s the next contest?  Can’t wait to enter!
